Swedish Softwood Saw-Timber Exports Declined by 5,7% to 8,8 Million Cub M
Softwood saw-timber exports to the UK reduced most drastically, while the UK a key-importer. The UK imported 1,2 million of saw-timber (-2,3%).
Exports to Japan reduced by 7,4% to 713 thousand cub m, exports to Germany — down by 18,3% (632 thousand cub m), exports to Norway — down by 12,7% (628 thousand cub m), exports to the Netherlands — down by 9% (620 thousand cub m), exports to France — down by 8,3% (367 thousand cub m), exports to Italy — down by 4,6% (249 thousand cub m)
Swedish saw-timber exports to Denmark increased by 6,7% to 1,0 million cub m, exports to Spain — up by 12% (484 thousand cub m), exports to Ireland — up by 38,3% (184 thousand cub m).
