Exibition HOLZHAUS 13 — 16 November 2008 Moscow, Russia

The Crocus Expo exhibition centre welcomed the HOLZHAUS exhibition organized by MVK International Exhibition Company, Russian Association of manufacturers and consumers of glued laminated timber, and supported by the Federal Agency for Construction, Housing and Public Utilities (Rosstroy) and the Association of Wooden House-building NP.

Alongside with the Holzhaus exhibition there were held the SWE/Windows and Doors World and BAUSTEIN/Ceramics and Stone exhibitions.

Besides, all the visitors of Holzhaus were able to visit the 4th International specialized exhibition for equipment and accessories for the industry of aqua parks, saunas, swimming polls, solariums and spas held at the same time at the Crocus Expo exhibition centre.

The official opening ceremony was attended by Andrei Lapshin, the President of MVK International Exhibition Company, Petr Perederiy, the Deputy head of of the Department of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation, A. Safronov, the Vice-President of the Russian Association of manufacturers and consumers of glued laminated timber, R. Vishnevsky, the Executive Director of the National agency for low-rise and cottage house building and V. Begar, the Executive Director of the Association of Wooden House-building NP.

Over 250 companies from Russia, Estonia, Denmark, Finland, Portugal and Germany showcased the top wooden house building technologies, efficient and ecologically safe wood processing technologies, hi-quality consumables and materials, wood-processing equipment, ready projects of country houses, baths, arbors and other wooden constructions. The same-theme exhibitions held simultaneously allowed the organizers bring into life the main concept of the show: “House. In the house. Near the house”.
