Russian timber sector production growth to reach 5.5% by 2008: Ministry of economic development and trade
Russian timber sector will increase production 5.5% in 2008 compared to 2004, according to the forecast published by the Ministry of economic development and trade.
According to the forecast, in 2005 Russian timber sector production index will reach 104.9% while the rate of timber sector in overall industrial production will remain at 4.1% in 2005.
In 2006 timber sector production growth will reduce 3.4% while its rate in the overall industrial production will remain at the level reached in 2005.
In 2007 and 2008 Russian timber sector will be constantly reducing production growth to 2.6% and 2.8% respectively.
The rate of timber sector in the overall industrial production will reach 4% in 2007 and 2008.
