Russian timber sector increased production 2.9% in first 10 months of 2004
Russian timber sector increased production 2.9% in
first 10 months of 2004 compared to the same year-to-date period in 2003. In
October 2004 timber sector reduced production 2.1% compared to the same period
in 2003. In October 2004 overall industrial production in
Russia increased 3.5% to RUR 1039 billion. Industrial production increased 6.2%
to RUR 9101 billion in first 10 months of 2004 compared to the same
year-to-date period in 2003. Timber, timber-processing and pulp and
