Ukraine to get EUR 150mn from Japan
Haiduk noted that the funds
will be spent solely for implementation of projects to reduce harmful
emissions into the atmosphere. In March, Ukraine and Japan signed an
agreement to sell 30 million items of its quotas for carbon emissions.In April Ukraine will receive half of funds
from selling greenhouse emissions to Japan, said Vitali Haiduk, Head of
the Group of Advisers of the Ukrainian Prime Minister, a member of the
Ukrainian delegation currently on a visit to Japan led by Premier Yulia
Tymoshenko.
